Happy Birthday to my Sweetie - Scott Garner! The very best husband! How did I ever get so lucky?
Good Morning - Gloriously Colorful World!!!
Official Request - to those of you who have read my book and not quite gotten around to reviewing it on Amazon, or Goodreads, or wherever you bought the book - Please, pretty please, with a cherry on top - give it a comment. It doesn't have to be long, just a paragraph. (And if you don't mind - let me know where you post it.)

I am SO enjoying this memoir by a local artist and acquaintance, Mary La. It is difficult and beautiful. Her artistic photos to go along with each essay/story are mesmerizing. There is so much to relate to. If you have experienced trauma or ever felt the heartsick need to belong, doing whatever it took, often involving poor life choices, you will be moved by this book!
Valentine’s Day and both boys were home. Ben brought Isis over and Bean had his friends Nich and Haylee over for heart-shaped pizza, a game of Ransom Notes - hilarious! - and banana splits. Super fun night.
