So close to being done with the Halloween 2014 costume
This was put together originally by Ben and me as a Powerpoint Presentation for his Elementary School Talent Show during the last week of his Fifth Grade Year. I was to voice the narrative, and then the last screen said, “All this has led up to…” and then “Cue the Music,” which started the IRON MAN song by Black Sabbath – and then he walked out on stage in his Hulk Buster Suit. That is an entire slideshow of its own! (For the Talent Show, our PowerPoint didn’t make it onto our ThumbDrive – so there was no slideshow that day. He did walk out to Black Sabbath and the Crowd did go completely wild – so that was fun!)
Ben at 3 or 4 years old - his first Iron Man Helmet
He started working on more complex helmets almost immediately.

When he was Six, he started working on a Metal Iron Man suit.
He did the cutting, shaping and welding himself with some supervision by his dad.
Little Brother, Bean, is always close by.
Working in miniature helps him figure proportions.
Working in full-scale is always the most fun.

"Let's face it, this is NOT the worst thing you've caught me doing."
Almost a dance move, it looks like!
So close to being done with the Halloween 2014 costume
He needed to make sure the helmet would work with Aviators.
And he had to have the Donut scene.
"And what about that high-tech crossword puzzle on your neck?"
